Description of Member's Practice: Carol Yur defends employers in wage-and-hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) lawsuits; in cases alleging employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and retaliation; and in other employment-related disputes, including administrative actions before the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Carol further advises clients on day-to-day employment matters, including employment policies and procedures, terminations, trainings and compliance. She has also defended clients in more than a hundred physical and digital accessibility cases alleging a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other accommodations statutes, and regularly advises clients on accessibility compliance issues. Carol also represents clients in complex business disputes involving breach of contract and fraud.
